I Play The Kazoo

I play the kazoo.

I tried the sax,
But I was to lax.

I tried the cello,
But I wasn’t very mellow.

I tried to play the French Horn,
But my teacher looked at me with scorn.

I tried the harp,
But I wasn’t very appealing.

I tried the violin,
But I knew I wouldn’t win.

I tried the drum,
But I banged my thumb.

I tried the clarinet,
But I just made everyone upset.

I tried the tuba,
But then they sent it to Cuba.

I tried the flute,
But I was given the boot.

I tried the trumpet,
But I was told to dump it.

I tried the viola,
While drinking some cola.
“Please don’t play,” said Nola.

I tried so many instruments,
But no matter what I could do,
The only thing that I could play
Was the silly looking kazoo.
